And the Bronx Bombers rising star Anthony Volpe even shared an unforgettable memory with Leclerc.

Talking about the game, the Yankees went on to dominate the Athletics and took a convincing win. But it was Leclerc and Volpe, who stole the show as the young infielder presented the Ferrari driver with his gift.

During the Yankees’ 7-2 victory over the Athletics, Charles Leclerc made a special appearance. The Ferrari F1 driver threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the game. Furthermore, he did it in a Yankees jersey with his name and the number 16 on the back of it. Anthony Volpe recently shared an Instagram Story of him presenting Leclerc with the jersey. The young infielder was hyped about the moment and even thanked the F1 star for coming.

In the story, Volpe said, “Thanks for coming!! @charles_leclerc”, also tagging his team in it. This was a cool moment between the up-and-coming infielder and the F1 superstar. Leclerc threw out the first pitch after having a disappointing outing at the Miami Grand Prix. But he seemed to be a bit of a lucky charm as the Yankees won the game.
