From slamming home runs to delving into a new passion is what most Major League Baseball players do when they retire. The Former San Francisco Giants slugger who won the World Series twice, did the same thing when he retired in 2012. To express his creativity, he took up painting as a hobby. Although it is unconventional for players to take up recreational activities, the former Giant not only made it his hobby but excelled enough at it to want to make it his second profession.

Recently, Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone validated the two times world series champion with a nice gesture. After years of hard work with the brush in hand, the baseball champ, Aubrey Huff, is getting the recognition he deserves.

How did Sylvester Stallone validate the former MLB player?

While most players choose to work alongside the lines of baseball after getting retired, Huff chose something entirely different. What he started as a hobby is about to turn into a full-fledging business. When the former athlete took up painting as his hobby, little did he know that one day, Golden Globe award winner Sylvester Stallone would appreciate his work.

Recently the MLB legend posted a picture of Stallone holding one of his artworks. The painting that the actor held was of one of his iconic characters, Rocky holding a victory flag. The magnificent painting reflects the emotions that the character must have felt at the time. Stallone not only posed for a picture with Huff’s artwork, but he also signed with a small admiration message. 

The former baseball player savored the moment, and Twitter users acknowledged the hard work that led Stallone to visit.

MLB fans could not get enough of the dazzling masterpiece!

Aubrey Huff played in the big league for thirteen seasons in five different teams before he bid farewell in 2012. His fans, teammates, and opponents considered him a valuable player because of his leadership skills, clutch hitting, and ability to help his team win games. Despite his outspoken nature, and after returning to Twitter from a year-long suspension, he is back at it showing his artwork to his fans.
