After very long, the New York Yankees have managed a very convincing victory over an extremely powerful team – Toronto Blue Jays. But this game was more than a convincing victory but was a grand display of what the Pinstripes offense can actually pull off on a good day and even a solid and economical start by Jimmy Cordero and Jhony Brito. Aaron Boone’s ejection came deep in the eighth when home-plate umpire Clint Vondrak called a strike on a ball that was pretty much under the strike zone.

After the strike call by umpire Vondark, Boone left the dugout and entered into a heated conversation with the umpire, pointing out that there had been poor calls throughout the game. Consequently, Boone was tossed.

Despite his ejection, Boone and the Yankees had a good game. They scored early in the game and maintained a good lead until finally conceding in the eighth after a Gleyber Torres error.

The Yankees captain spoke about a good performance by the Yankees offense, and said, “Tonight, we did a good job getting something we could drive and putting a good swing on it to do damage.”
