The Yankee Stadium is experiencing an influx of celebrities. Just two days ago, WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark had made her presence felt. Her words for Aaron Judge won the hearts of many Pinstripes fans. However, that wasn’t close to the end of celeb entries in the stadium. On June 11, Alexandra Daddario came out to watch the New York Yankees in action and coincidentally was caught in a great pic with the twin-homer hitting Juan Soto.

The weather was nice and so were the spirits within the Yankee Stadium. The Bronx Bombers were going through an offensive spree and Juan Soto was leading the party. The 25-year-old hit his 29th and 30th home run against the Texas Rangers. More importantly, it was the first time in Soto’s career that he had sent a rocket against the Lone Stars. However, even he wouldn’t have guessed just how viral his accidental picture with Daddario would become.

The Yankees’ Instagram post showed Alexandra Daddario standing right at the back of the home base. Wearing the classic 2009 World Series-winning Yankees jersey, the 38-year-old actress was having the time of her life. So, when Juan Soto hit his huge home run, Daddario took the moment to take a picture of herself but as one can see, the Dominican slugger, too, made an appearance on it.

Before the game, the Pinstripes posted a TikTok video of Alexandra Daddario. The Percy Jackson and True Detective star revealed that despite being from New York, this was the first time she had ever been to the Yankee Stadium. What a way to make your first time count, right? That’s certainly what the fans thought, who couldn’t help but marvel at the ‘piece of art’ that picture is.

New York Yankees in awe of Juan Soto and Alexandra Daddario

It isn’t every day that you see stars watching a baseball game. But it is even rarer to see them taking such an iconic picture. “Belongs in the Louvre,” said a fan. That is a take that many agree with, everything that Juan Soto does becomes iconic within the Bronx Bombers. However, this picture is an indication of the growing stardom that this 25-year-old is enjoying. Despite there being a famous actress there, all eyes were mostly on Soto’s strut.

“The vintage ‘09 jersey we love to see it!” noted another Bronx faithful. That is what immediately caught everyone’s attention. Alexandra Daddario was wearing the iconic jersey that the Bronx Bombers wore during their (till now) last World Series win in 2009. Could she have brought a sense of good luck to the Pinstripes with that jersey? Only time will tell.

“Caitlin Clark and Alexandra Daddario both at Yankee Stadium in a 48-hour period? Yankees are winning at life,” wrote one user. It isn’t a common sight to see stars in a baseball stadium. However, the New York Yankees are perhaps one of the biggest sporting brands all over the world. For the Yankee Nation, seeing stars of such caliber in their stadium is quite a normal sight.

“Soto adds aura to every picture,” said another Yankees lover. Certainly, that is also true. Despite being just 25, Soto is almost a veteran in the league. His huge impact and even bigger charisma turned him into one of the biggest names in baseball today. Add to that his impressive 2024, one can see why Juan Soto has seen his aura grow even more this year.

“Too cute, but she’s look way better in a Mets jersey! Just saying,” wrote one Mets fan. That was also a take that was quite common. From the New York Mets fans to the Baltimore Orioles fans, everyone wanted Alexandra Daddario to visit their stadium. But alas, this time the Yankees may have won and that could sting to the rival fans.

So, there it is – Juan Soto and Alexandra Daddario’s iconic picture. Though they weren’t actually together in that picture, technically, they were in the same frame; and sometimes, that’s all it takes for a great moment to turn into an iconic memory!
