Some fans feel that she should not have lost her job.
Talk it out, make up and move on. No one should get fired for that. She made a mistake. I think the two women could have worked that out amongst themselves.

Stupid sure, but firing her for that? Also, why is no one naming Ivon Gaete? Could both be because she’s married to the VP of Communications at MLB?

I thought she was fired cos it was coworker. It was some random reporter. LOLLL Les Bowen punched McLane and we didn’t care whatsoever. Losing your job for this… yikes. https://t.co/5en5qR6ZJ2

I don’t think it’s right Rivera lost her job for this. The other reporter was overstepping and out of line. Rivera was just reacting in the moment. If there wasn’t a video, there wouldn’t be an issue. https://t.co/wykAWZokIW

Rivera deserved to be fired by ESPN after that remark
in front of children and Aaron Judge because that was very unprofessional and inappropriate. She won't have a reporter's job anymore, locally or nationally.— Cary Wollenweber (@CaryWollenweber) April 28, 2023
