From hitting a home run and throwing a perfect game to winning the world series, baseball provides endless opportunities for players to achieve greatness and leave a lasting legacy. But all of it would not be possible if there wasn’t a right person to help them through. Baseball has been around for over a century now. And even though players are one of the most important parts of a team winning, there are many who play a role off the field to help them. National League’s Atlanta Braves also has one of those, a 40-year MLB veteran, former coach, and current manager, Brian Snitker.
The former Manager of the Year, Snitker, is about to achieve an awe-inspiring feat during tonight’s game against the Padres. Needless to say, Braves fans are celebrating this moment by dubbing their manager “the real MVP” for a monumental feat.

Atlanta Braves has a star among themselves!
Snitker has been with the Braves organization since 1977. Three years after, the organization released him from being a minor league player. But he didn’t give up. And now, it’s been over 40 years, and he has stayed with the Braves in various roles.
However, the one that has made the most impact would be his role as a manager since 2016. Ever since Brian took upon the role of manager, the Braves have gotten five straight NL East titles, along with the most prestigious of one, the 2021 World Series. As the Braves play their second game with the Padres this season, Snitker will be completing 1,000 games as a manager.

After being a coach for many years between the 80s and 2010s, transitioning toward becoming a manager was indeed tough. But Snitker, being who he is, didn’t give up on the franchise back in the 80s, and he’s certainly not about to give up now. Celebrating his incredible achievement are countless Braves fans, appreciating him for his loyalty towards the team.
