What makes Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez so special? He was a great ballplayer. No doubt about that. But there have been many great hitters in the game. The reason Alex Rodriguez stands alone in a different league is because of his successful post-retirement career.
Having played for over 22 years in MLB, A-Rod won everything in the game. Thanks to his brand image, he also had lucrative contracts in the league. Usually, when an athlete retires from their sport, they choose to spend the rest of their lives giving extra care and time to family and friends.

But A-Rod is a different breed. It has been only six years since he retired from the game, and the Yankees legend has already built an empire in his post-retirement career. With a net worth of over $350 million, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez has invested in real estate and multiple sporting ventures. Once, Kavin O’Leary—a business mogul — shared his experience of working with A-Rod at Shark Tank.
Does Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodrigue have the smartest mind in American sports?
Being a baseball player, one does not get many opportunities to establish their image compared to the NFL and NBA players. But A-Rod made it possible. Not only did he have a successful baseball career, but he also became a prominent face in American sports.
Under the umbrella of his investment company A-Rod Corp, the former Yankee is minting millions of dollars, especially from his real estate investments. And Kavin O’Leary said the same. Notably, the two have worked on the famous reality show, Shark Tank.
