Over the decades, baseball has seen some truly incredible feats. Furthermore, the MLB boasts some truly historic venues. Fenway Park is the oldest MLB stadium currently in use, with legendary feats and big games having taken place there. But most recently, a Seattle Mariners player achieved a particularly historic accomplishment that has never been done before. But fans have shown mixed reactions to it.

This occurred during the Mariners? recent game against the Boston Red Sox. It was the first of a 3-game away series for the Seattle-based team. Although they won the game, their player?s historic feat took center stage.

Seattle Mariners? Cal Raleigh becomes the first catcher to hit home runs from both sides of the plate at Fenway Park

As the oldest MLB stadium, Fenway Park has seen some truly iconic achievements. But most recently, Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh achieved a feat that has never been done before at the Red Sox’s home ground. During his most recent game, Raleigh became the first catcher to hit a home run from both sides of the plate at Fenway Park. Talkin’ Baseball shared a Tweet, highlighting Raleigh’s accomplishment.?

In the Tweet, they said, “Cal Raleigh is the first catcher EVER to homer from both sides of the plate in a game at Fenway”. This was a great individual performance from Raleigh that also helped the Mariners secure a dominant victory.

The Mariners catcher achieved an impressive feat while helping his team pick up an important win. Furthermore, it helped the team start off their 3-game away series on a solid note as star player Julio Rodriguez struggles. But Raleigh is not the only Mariners player to achieve important accomplishments. Most recently, one of the team’s young pitchers impressed fans and experts with his memorable pitching.

Mariners pitcher Bryce Miller achieved history in his most recent outing

Bryce Miller has truly impressed in his first three outings as an MLB starting pitcher.? He has won 2 out of his 3 games and allowed only 1 earned run. But during his third start, he achieved something historic. According to MLB’s Sarah Langs, “Bryce Miller?s 8 baserunners allowed are the fewest in a pitcher?s first 3 career appearances since at least 1901, min. 15 IP”. This is a massive achievement for the rookie pitcher as he shows off his potential.
