It has been over 20 years since Jose Canseco retired from the game. Known for his insane hitting from the plate, Canseco had a successful yet controversial career in Major League Baseball.

A player as big as Canseco, who should have been in the Hall of Fame, ruined his baseball legacy with his involvement with PEDs. And because of that, not only did he ruin his relationship with MLB, but the former Oakland Athletics slugger also spoiled his friendships with a few of his close friends who played baseball.

And now, the controversial MLB legend has come up with a cryptic tweet that has confused fans and the MLB community.

Only Jose Canseco knows what he is up to. It is not a surprise that Canseco has taken the name of an MLB player and tried to create some sort of controversy around it. Earlier on Aug 17, Canseco named his Athletics teammate and legendary first baseman, Mark McGwire, and sent a cryptic message through a tweet.?

?Spend a weekend with me Jose Canseco for golf, dinner, poker, bowling, and q and a…call Mike Maguire at 571 215 1147..quaranteed a great time,? Canseco tweeted. It is almost unclear what Canseco wanted to say about him or his former teammate McGwire.

Notably, Canseco and McGwire have played almost eight years together for the Oakland Athletics. Both were serial hitters of their time. Canseco has 462 home runs to his name, while Mark McGwire has hit 583 homers in MLB.

Canseco and his wild predictions?

It is not the first time Jose Canseco has used one of his former teammates’ names to create controversies. Earlier in 2021, he also took shots at the former Yankee, Alex Rodriguez. Notably, A-Rod was in a relationship with Jennifer Lopez till April 2021.

But way before their breakup, Canseco had already predicted the future of A-Rod?s relationship with Jennifer. Taking to Twitter, he wrote that A-Rod and Jennifer would part ways.

?Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez will go their separate ways this year and Alex Rodriguez will hook up with a fitness model,? Canseco tweeted in Jan 2021.

Although it happened the same, many fans found it wrong of Canseco to predict someone?s personal life.
