2023 was looking to be a big year for the Tampa Bay Rays. But the franchise has lost starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow to injury during Spring Training. Talkin? Baseball shared the news via Twitter stating that Glasnow suffered an oblique injury while pitching for batting practice. Furthermore, the starting pitcher is reportedly going to miss some games as well.?

In the Tweet, Talkin? Baseball said, ?Tyler Glasnow reportedly suffered an oblique injury during live BP today and is expected to miss time, via @TBTimes_Rays?. Glasnow missed most of the 2022 season while recovering from Tommy John surgery. Many fans expected him to have his first full season this year. But this oblique injury may cause him to miss a few weeks of the regular season.?
