He had started the game well and looked on track for a great performance before the issue. This is not the first time it is happening this season either, with deGrom departing a game earlier this month. Fans have shown concern following news of the latest injury. Talkin’ Yanks shared a Tweet confirming deGrom’s mid-game departure. 

In the Tweet, Talkin’ Yanks said, “Degrom leaving the game with an injury”. Although the injury does not seem serious, Rangers’ management will have tests done and then reevaluate. This is a blow for the Texas-based team, as their ace pitcher seems to be dealing with some discomfort.
