Yankees star Carlos Rodon had a successful bullpen session

Carlos Rodon suffered a forearm strain during Spring Training. That injury and subsequent setbacks have prevented him from playing this season so far. But in the latest news, he has made another step toward his Yankees debut. Most recently, MLB insider Bryan Hoch shared that Rodon has had a successful bullpen session. The Southpaw managed to throw 20 pitches at high intensity. Hoch shared the news via Twitter, announcing the update on Rodon’s road to recovery.

In a Tweet, he said, “Carlos Rodón said his bullpen went well. 20 pitches at high intensity. Next step would be another bullpen. He’s eager to get back to facing hitters. ‘I need it.’” This is a massive step forward as he looks optimistic about returning soon. Furthermore, the Bombers’ bullpen would benefit greatly from a pitcher of Rodon’s caliber in the starting rotation.
