$162 Million Ace’s Wife Dubs Massive Rumor “Bullshit” as His Injury Angers New York Yankees Fans Further

The injury-plagued New York Yankees rest far at the bottom of the American League East Division trailing the Boston Red Sox by 2 games. During the offseason, the Pinstripes’ pursuit of 2022 AL MVP Aaron Judge and star pitcher Carlos Rodon created an absolute frenzy. But Judge, who signed a nine-year $360 million deal, has been on the bench since the first Rangers game, and Rodon, six years and $162 million, is yet to make his first start of the season.
Amidst this, every day, a new rumor is born.
This time, it was Carlos Rodon who became a victim, and Ashley Rodon who struck back.

Ashley Rodon has a fitting response to rumors
A fan account on Twitter called ‘Yankee Mandela’ uploaded a supposed update on Rodon’s return and stated that the ace wouldn’t be returning to the mound in 2023. “Jomboy said on Talkin’ Yanks that he’s heard from unverified sources within the Yankees building not to get your hopes up on Rodon pitching this year,” said the account.
Bullshit.

A few days back, Carlos Rodon shared a first-hand update on his condition. He said that the pain has gone, but he’s yet unable to get into the best position while pitching. The All-Star lefty also expressed immense disappointment about being on the bench, and said, “It really sucks. I want to be pitching for the New York Yankees. I want to be pitching in this series, and with the boys. I want to be competing. It’s hard to sit here and not be doing it.”
No one expected Ashley Rodon to respond to rumors and trolls. And when she did, she didn’t hold back. As Ashley roasted the fan account and corrected the story, fans were left in splits.
This is how fans reacted:
