Freddie Freeman, first baseman of the Los Angeles Dodgers, is celebrating a huge personal moment. The 33-year-old star is a fan-favorite for his skills on the diamond. Sometimes, Freeman also shares his family life with his wife Chelsea as well as their three sons on social media. Much like his father, Freeman’s older son, Charlie, is also turning out to be quite the ball player. He’s already making waves in his Little League at just 6-years-old.

The Freeman couple’s younger sons, twins Brandon and Maximus, have a unique story of their own. After struggling with infertility for a while, the couple wanted to explore more options to expand their family. In a happy coincidence, the twins were born – one via surrogate – and they were 6 weeks apart. And recently, the couple celebrated a milestone – their birthday!

Freddie Freeman and wife Chelsea celebrate their twin sons’ birthday

Chelsea recently posted a bunch of pictures on Instagram, wishing her two kids a happy birthday. From the photos, it looked like their party was movie themed. Mainly featuring the Fast and the Furious. Signs in the background said things like ‘Speed Limit 2’ while one of the boys wore a t-shirt that said ‘Two fast 2 curious’.

Everything was white and teal-themed, perfect for a party in a beach town. The last slide in the post showed a video of the party where kids were having the time of their life playing on rides. Chelsea Freeman captioned the video, “TWO FAST TWO CURIOUS 🚙 🥳This is such a late post but I cannot believe that our guys are 2. 🥺We love you so much, Brandon & Maximus!” And indeed, the boys’ birthdays were actually in February!

How have Freeman and the Los Angeles Dodgers been doing this season?

The baseball season is going on in full swing and while some teams are doing great, some are struggling. The LA Dodgers seem to be part of the latter club. After a mostly good 2022 season, winning 111 games, the start of the 2023 season has not been going well.

With 9 games so far, the LA team has lost 6 of them. Freeman has been a spectacular player but of course, he has also had ups and downs. “I feel like we haven’t got it going,” the first baseman recently told the LA Times. “When we pitch, we don’t hit. When we hit, we don’t pitch. It’s just been kind of all over the place the first two weeks. We’ve got [5½] more months.”
