The New York Yankees have been plagued with controversy. Aaron Judge was accused of cheating during the series against the Toronto Blue Jays. He was cleared of all wrongdoing, but the accusation created negative media coverage around the Bronx side. Most recently, Judge expressed his honest opinion as one of the Yankees’ pitchers overcame an umpire’s scrutiny.
Earlier this week, Domingo German was ejected for using sticky substances and subsequently banned for 10 games. Luckily, this time around, the Yankees pitcher overcame the incident with Judge sharing his thoughts after the game.

Yankees captain Aaron Judge shares his thoughts as Clarke Schmidt survives umpire’s scrutiny
The Yankees beat the Cincinnati Reds in a convincing 6-2 win. But the game had its controversies for the Bronx Bombers. After pitching 4 scoreless innings, Schmidt was subjected to an umpire’s check. Although there were no problems with his pitching hand, there seemed to be a problem with his gloved hand. The four umpires allowed Schmidt to wash his hands in the clubhouse and continue to pitch. After the game, Aaron Judge shared his honest opinions on the incident. YES Network shared a video of Judge’s conversation on Twitter.

During the interview, Judge said, “You know, I think everything, I think the same thing that’s going through everything else’s mind. You know, uh, just wondering what’s going to happen in that situation, and yeah. I really don’t know what really transpired, but he came back on the mound and kept pitching. You know, I haven’t really dove into exactly what happened or what transpired or what was said, so he was still out there pitching. That’s all I was focused on.”

This was a nail-biting incident for the Yankees and Judge as their pitcher may have been ejected. Luckily, there were no serious issues and he was allowed to go back onto the mound. He threw a decent game as the Yankees won the game. But Judge also played an important role in the contest.
Judge hit his 13th home run of the season
During the Yankees’ most recent win, Aaron Judge smashed his 13th home run of the season. The Bronx Bombers’ captain played a pivotal role with his batting. Judge’s form since his return from hip injury has been crucial for the team. They have won 8 of the 11 games since the captain came back from the injured list.
