Rodriguez began his broadcasting roles while still a player with the New York Yankees. Giving his analysis on both the 2015 and 2016 postseasons while still contracted with the Yankees. With fans excited about the star’s exclusive contract, some are predicting that the deal may be set to break the records and make Rodriguez the best-paid TV Analyst appearing on screen. And with the star’s playing career panning out the way that it has, only a few would be surprised.

A-Rod’s Current Media Appearances

Rodriguez is one of the few athletes to leave a mark on the sport even after his retirement. Despite the star retiring in 2016, he has since made sure that his stock remains high among athletes and fans alike. Starting on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball, in 2018 as a regular, Rodriguez was shifted away from the show in 2021 in the network’s rehaul of the show.

Since 2022,  he has been appearing on the ESPN Network regularly too. A-Rod appears on the ‘Kay Rod Cast’ co-hosting with Michael Kay, the announcer for the New York Yankees as an alternate to Sunday Night Baseball. Where despite some controversy, the star’s analysis remains appreciated.

A-Rod’s other endeavors, too, undoubtedly keep him occupied. Running a large real estate business under his umbrella A-Rod corporation and even splashing the cash for part ownership in an NBA and WNBA franchise. But the star still remains close to the sport that made him an icon.
