On September 23, 2022, Albert Pujols slammed a pair of home runs against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Consequently, the St. Louis Cardinals registered a comfortable victory by defeating the Dodgers by an 11-0 margin. Thus, Pujols became only the fourth MLB batter joining Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, and Barry Bonds in the feat.

A fan by the name of Marlowe Leal caught Pujols’ 700th home run ball at Dodger Stadium. While initially, he kept the treasured gem, he later co-signed with Goldwin Auctions to sell the prized possession. Therefore, recently, the ball got sold for $360,000 at an auction. Baseball fans flocked with their opinions to respond to the report online.

A disappointed fan reacted to the news writing, “Could have gotten a lot more. Considering there are only four 700 HR balls in existence.”
