Cole Tucker, an infielder for the Colorado Rockies’ Triple-A associate, was recently called up to them. The player, listed as a shortstop, made his Rockies debut against the Brewers. But what made the news was the audience that Tucker bought with him.

High School Musical star, Vanessa Hudgens, was spotted in the audience cheering on her fiance. And it definitely seemed to work.

His fiance turned lucky charm as Tucker registered his first hit of the 2023 season. And the Rockies will hope that Hudgens can make it to the Coors Field as often as possible if the performances keep rolling.

However, the hitter’s form wasn’t enough to carry the Rockies through on the night, with the Rockies eventually folding to the Brewers in a 7-6 defeat. But what better time for Hudgens to be there than to support Tucker at the time he needed her the most?

February bought more good news for the happy couple as Hudgens took to social media to announce their engagement. The fans, however, were not amused.

Tucker has been in and out of the major Leagues since being drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2019. With Hudgens at his back, he will look to make this promotion stick. And with cheers and support aplenty, Tucker seems to do the best he can.

Rockies fans will hope that the star’s recent appearances will inspire Tucker to mark the turnaround that the Rockies have been pining for in 2023. Despite a losing record, the team has been on a streak recently and will hope to end the season as close to the 0.500 mark as possible. But most fans had their doubts.
