Despite the initial hope that Betts might participate in Monday’s workout, the Dodgers didn’t have the cards on the table as he’s left out. “He’ll have 11 days to get back to full strength, and we’re optimistic he’ll be ready to go for our season opener against the Detroit Tigers on March 27,” Roberts added, confirming Betts’s return date.

Now, as the Tokyo Series kicks off without their star player, the Dodgers’ hope for an early season boost remains uncertain. Betts’ absence has undoubtedly raised questions about the team’s depth and how they’ll navigate through the opening stretch without their dynamic player. After all, the player had 75 runs contributing to the team’s offense and 22 total bases. Oh yes, he’s crucial!

The Dodgers understand the importance of every Major League game, and Mookie Betts’ health is critical to their winning chances. Therefore, who steps up to the mantle and takes responsibility?

Someone must step up for Mookie Betts!

The Tokyo Series was supposed to be a chance for Mookie Betts to shine on the International stage. But instead, the Los Angeles Dodgers are left scrambling with Betts ruled out. Now the question lingering on everyone’s mind: who will get ready to influence the team with outstanding hitting?

With all these questions looming around, manager Dave Roberts confirmed that veteran infielder Miguel Rojas will take over at shortstop for the Dodgers. The Chicago Cubs, who are set to send two left-handed pitchers (Shota Imanaga and Justin Steele), will provide Miguel the opportunity to showcase his skills while batting at the lower part of the lineup.

Rojas, a seasoned veteran and shortstop, will play a key role defensively as the Dodgers aim to maintain their competitive edge under the Tokyo lights. In the meantime, the team navigates Betts’ absence and focuses on getting him up to full fitness for the regular season against the Detroit Tigers on the 27 this month.

Meanwhile, Rojas’ experience and steady play in the field will help fill the void, keeping the Dodgers’ momentum intact as they prepare for the challenges ahead.
