Joining in to pay tribute to the legend and condolences to his family is the world Brunson left affected by his iconic poker skills. Also known as the Godfather of Poker, Brunson influenced countless people in all 89 years of his life. The Poker Hall of Fame inductee left no industry untouched while spreading his charm, donning his iconic cowboy hat with a big smile on his face. Hence, when the word got out of the demise of such a legend, the Boston Red Sox legend, Curt Schilling, is one of the countless people who are saddened by Brunson’s death.

The 3x World Series champ took it to his official Twitter handle to share the news of Brunson’s demise. While doing so, the former athlete wrote,?“My dad’s highest compliment was just “He’s good people”. He will be forever remembered as “Good People”. What a man. What a legacy.”
