Aaron Judge has been the talk of the town lately. With one stellar performance after another, the New York Yankees captain has left fans impressed. While All-Rise is arguably one of the best players of his generation, many are even calling him the best player in Major League Baseball right now. The series opener against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday and the clutch home run proved once again why Judge has the reputation he does.
But before Wednesday’s game started, Judge hung out with his furry friend. The captain has shared his dogs with the world before and never fails to melt fans. In fact, when Judge’s future with the Yankees was looking murky in 2022, fellow teammate Anthony Rizzo and his dog convinced the outfielder to stay! And yesterday, the newest member of the Judge family made an appearance on the field.

Up until the 2022 offseason, the captain’s family included Judge and his wife, Samantha Brackseick, as well as their first dachshund, Penny. Then, just before the 2023 season started, a new member joined them – Gus Judge. And the tiny furball made his debut at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday ahead of the second game against Baltimore.

Talkin’ Yanks shared a clip of the duo with the caption, “Gus and his dad Aaron 🥹”. The video shows Judge playing with the dog as he throws him a ball. Then Gus tries to keep up with a running Judge but barely makes it. What fans found endearing was how the 6’7″ Yankee positively dwarfed the tiny dog.
