British Singer and songwriter Calum Scott is overwhelmed to reach the 1 billion Spotify milestone. While he is celebrating his success, he hasn’t forgotten to thank the Phillies for selecting this song as their ‘unofficial’ team anthem. The singer expressed his heartfelt message to the team on social media.

This is a big achievement for the song and the singer. However, the latter shared this credit with the Phillies. He expressed, “A HUGE thank you has to go to @Phillies also for making this song their anthem two years running.”?

Two years back, the Phillies replaced their previous anthem, ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame’ with Scott’s song. They have been playing the song at the ballpark, in the locker room, in every celebration. So, it has become their new anthem. This, in one sense, even proved to be a lucky charm for the team. Since the new anthem came, they are second time on their way to the World Series. However, Thursday night was not good for the Phillies.

Arizona Diamondbacks took game 3
While the NLCS run was going great for the Phillies with a 2-0 lead. It faced a pause in Game 3 as the Diamondbacks made a return with 2-1. Though both teams were scoreless till the 6th inning, the Phillies managed to break the tie in the seventh. Bryce Harper took the lead, but the opponent soon paved the way towards victory.
However, the Diamondbacks also struggled a lot to claim the victory. But in the ninth inning, Diamondbacks pitcher Paul Sewald pitched a scoreless inning to lead the team toward the win.

The series still has four games left. So, both teams will do their best to continue their journey. As the Phillies World Series run is still on, Calum Scott will probably see the streaming rate increase to another height.
