VIDEO: Jubilant Mood in the Los Angeles Dodgers Clubhouse as Team Wins National League West Division

On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers clubhouse turned into a party scene. The team had every reason to celebrate. The Dodgers are having a dream run in the ongoing season so far. After Tuesday’s game, they took the first big step towards a giant victory leap. 

The Los Angeles Dodgers are now the top-ranked team in the National League West zone. Maintaining a dominant form, they are in striking distance of 100 wins this season. Moreover, the Dodgers will be the first team in the entire tournament to achieve the milestone this year.

The Dodgers played the second game of an away series against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday. At Chase Field, the glorious Dodgers maintained their dominance. The struggling Diamondbacks were simply no match. 

LA Dodgers: Cementing the first pillar of their royal foundation 

The Dodgers have won the National League West Division this year. Tuesday was the night of the declaration. The title followed the victory against the Diamondbacks. Similar to the first game of the series, the visitors defeated the home team with ease.

The Dodgers’ defense has been flawless. Their pitching was accurate to the point that the Diamondbacks’ offense could not even get going. The Dodgers comfortably defeated the Diamondbacks by a 4-0 margin. 

In the post-game celebrations, the Dodgers manager Dave Roberts announced, “Alright guys, this is the first step. We’ve got a lot of first-timers here. So for some of us, this might be old hat. There was a lot of hard work in to win the division. The Championship, the West, is back in Los Angeles, where it deserves to be. Where it belongs to be.”

Roberts added saying, “Yency, Heaney, Tyler, all these guys, first timers! Congratulations, everybody. Everybody that’s here, everybody that’s not here. Hey, it’s about you guys, the players. The guy that’s been here the longest, Clayton Kershaw. He took the mound tonight.”

A few words from the veteran campaigner

Legendary pitcher Clayton Kershaw added a few words, stating, “I just want to say, I love you guys. And thank you for being so good. Because it’s really fun to be a honest team. So let’s have a blast.”
