With the wild card round coming to a close, there were quite a few surprises that shocked the realm of baseball and didn’t sit well with multiple experts, Alex Rodriguez included. However, the former Yankee shortstop turned baseman and esteemed ESPN and FOX Analyst got all his four wild card picks wrong. Responding to that, former Red Sox baseman, David Ortiz made sure to remind everyone about the 14-time All-Star’s ‘awful’ picks.
Alex Rodriguez and his wild card predictions have gone wrong
Notably, three-time American League MVP, A-Rod didn’t get a single pick right while predicting the wild card round results. David Ortiz, who won three World Championship Rings with the Boston Red Sox, walked around the Fox Studio pointing in the direction of the blunders made by A-Rod.

That went wrong: Tampa Bay Rays, St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, and finally, New York Mets. Ortiz goes on to say, “Come on man, what were you thinking?”
However, despite getting roasted, A-Rod’s witty mind didn’t leave him. And he came back with a direct attack on Ortiz’s former team by saying, “I’m still looking for the Red Sox.”
