Back in 2020, Jeter was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in the first year of his eligibility with a 99.75% majority. However, due to the global pandemic, his official induction ceremony took place on September 9, 2021.

Derek Jeter – a superhero father and player

One year after Jeter’s official Hall of Fame induction ceremony, he returns to Yankee Stadium with his family to celebrate his Hall of Fame with the Yanks fanbase. On the journey toward Yankee Stadium, Jeter has a candid conversation with his two daughters, who expressed excitement through food demands for the big day. The conversation began with Jeter’s question, “What do you wanna see at Yankee Stadium?”

Jeter’s daughter evidently had very different priorities. She responded to Jeter’s question by saying, “I want to eat.” She screamed “Ice cream!” out of joy as the conversation continues. On being asked if she wants to go on the field, she screamed “YES” but continued by saying, “I’m not a good baseball player.”

On a humorous note, she exclaims, “I don’t wanna break my leg like you did.” Jeter responds to that by saying, “I don’t think you have to worry about that, but thanks for your concern.

Finally, his daughter talks about her love for hot dogs and the people at Yankee Stadium. She says, “I love hot dogs! I’ll get all the hot dogs and all the ice cream. I’ll eat in front of the people. “

Jeter’s fantastic career in the ballpark

Jeter spent his entire 20-year MLB career with the Yanks. He made his debut in 1995 and retired as one of the most successful Yankee skippers in 2014. During his tenure, he appeared on 14 All-Star teams and won five World Championships. Moreover, along with the World Series MVP in 2000, he won five Golden Glove and Silver Slugger awards. The Yankees management added Jeter to Monument Park in 2017 and retired his jersey number 2.
