But when the baseball legend was sure that he had found the love of his life, he decided to give a major update about his relationship via the iconic event of the year, the Met Gala.
Jeter had met his now-wife supermodel Hannah Jeter (formerly Davis) at a mutual friend’s party in a restaurant. The supermodel was already present there, having dinner with her mother. Little did she know, that that moment would turn out to be one of the most beautiful moments of her life. Hence, three years later, at 2015’s Met Gala, Derek Jeter gave a major update about his relationship with the Sports Illustrated model.

Before being with Hannah, Derek might have talked about a couple of his relationships. But never once did the former athlete make a public appearance at any major event with any of his former girlfriends.
However, being with Hannah was different for the athlete in every sense. Therefore, Jeter gave a major update about his relationship with Hannah. They did so as the two made their first public appearance; walking down the red carpet of the Met Gala of 2015.
Needless to say, the moment Jeter and Davis walked the red carpet, their fans were left dumbfounded.
Within months of making their first public appearance, Jeter got engaged!
Derek Jeter’s debut at the Met Gala with now-wife Hannah Jeter took place in the early days of May 2015. Within six months of making their relationship, in November 2015, Derek, in one of his interviews, casually slipped that his “fiancee” had gifted him a dog.
And less than a year after that, the couple got hitched in a private ceremony. Which took place in July 2016 in Napa Valley. Since then, the couple has welcomed three daughters into the world and have been living the best time of their lives, raising them in Miami.
