So, in a career spanning two decades, he amassed a royal fortune. Nonetheless, he once shared half the cost of a pizza with his wife on an Italian vacation.

In the present day, Derek Jeter has a grand net worth of $200 million. He is now married to supermodel Hannah Davis (Jeter). She reportedly earns about $5 million a year from her modeling assignments. They began dating in 2012 after meeting at a social event.

Back in 2015, while still dating as lovers, the couple embarked on a vacation to Italy. During the trip, they once ate pizza in Dutch style near the Spanish steps in Rome. When done eating, they both split up the bill and paid for their own share. 

Following on, they stopped for ice cream. Interestingly, 2015 was also the year when Derek and Hannah later got engaged.

The celebrity pair finally married in 2016 and are still happily together. The couple is now the parents of three daughters. 

The post-retirement pursuits of Derek 

Derek bid farewell to the baseball diamond in 2014. Due to his passionate love for the sport, he joined the ownership group of an MLB franchise in 2017.  He became the joint owner and the chief executive officer of the Miami Marlins. However, he abruptly resigned from the post in 2022 and is now settled into his family life.
