There is one thing in life that the legendary shortstop Derek Jeter tried to stay away from as long as he could. And that was joining social media. The Captain had always wanted to keep his personal life separate from the media and his career. Therefore, he decided to not join Social Media until it was absolutely necessary to do so.
The shortstop has previously mentioned how he grew up in New York and that he’s been there since he was 20. He also understands that people want to know about him, what he does when he’s not playing, and other stuff, but he had to draw the line at some point. He also had his way of balancing his personal life with his professional endeavors. No matter how the game went, he never took his professional commitments home.
