Derek Jeter and Hannah Jeter have been married since 2016. The two are happy with family life and raising their children together. But there was once a time that Hannah missed her hometown. Shortly after the two got engaged, Hannah revealed one thing that she missed the most about Saint Thomas. 

Notably, Hannah has experienced her fair share of city life during her career as a model. She experienced some of her greatest success in New York City and met Derek while he was playing for the New York Yankees. But shortly after her engagement, she was hit with a wave of nostalgia.

Hannah Jeter missed the mentality of the people in Saint Thomas

Derek Jeter and his wife Hannah have been together since 2012. During that time, they have lived in cities or around city life. But in December 2015, shortly after their engagement became public, Hannah revealed what she missed the most about her hometown. The model grew up in Saint Thomas, in the Virgin Islands. During an interview with GQ, she said that she missed the mentality of the people the most.

According to GQ, Hannah said, “It feels like a Fourth of July barbecue every day there. It’s that laid-back mentality I miss most, people there just not quite moving as fast as the rest of the world.” This is truly different from the hustling and bustling lifestyle in the city.

But she and her husband Derek are thoroughly enjoying family life. The legendary Yankees’ shortstop wants to be there for as many of his children’s moments as possible. That is probably why he has shut down the idea of management roles in the MLB. Most recently, he and Hannah welcomed a new member to their family.

Earlier this month, Derek Jeter welcomed his 4th child with his wife Hannah Jeter. The two welcomed their first son to the family. The Yankees legend shared an Instagram Post announcing the birth of Kaius Green Jeter. Along with the boy’s name, he also shared that he was born on May 5th.
