Despite Having Two-Way Phenom Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout on the Team, LA Angels Miserably Failed to Win Against the Athletics Having the Worst Record

Despite having two of the best active players in Major League Baseball on their team, LA Angels have been constantly giving subpar performances for many years now. And this year, the team has stooped new lows by losing to Oakland Athletics. For those unversed, Athletics own the record of being the worst in the entire league. And not long ago, the team broke their own record and set a new low MLB.
Angels, on the other hand, are a far stronger team than the Athletics and have two-way phenom Shohei Ohtani, Prince Fish Mike Trout on their team. Even then, they could not manage to win against the team who have lost more games than any team in the league this season. And needless to say, baseball fans aren’t happy watching the talents of Ohtani and Trout go to waste.

Last year, Angels’ owner Arte Moreno released a statement that he would be looking at potential buyers to sell the team. However, not long ago, he again released a statement stating that he and the Angels aren’t done yet, and hence ended the possibility of new ownership.
Notably, Moreno got heavily criticized after making this announcement. It is because despite having the best talent on the team, under Moreno’s leadership, the team hasn’t made the playoffs since 2014. And if the subpar play continues, it might not happen this year as well.
Following are some of the fans’ reactions toward the Angels’ win probability chart.
