Americans and baseball share a very special bond. Balanced against their love for baseball, they hate disrespect towards their sport. Along those lines, the audience and fans don’t receive news about PED usage well. Similarly, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez, someone who was respected all across the realm of baseball, lost almost everything that he earned after rumors of his steroid usage surfaced.

A-Rod made his MLB debut in 1994. In his 22-season-long baseball career, A-Rod represented the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and finally, the NY Yankees. During this, he appeared on 14 All-Star teams and won three American League MVP awards and a World Series Championship.

Despite his achievements, the slugger never made it to the MLB Hall of Fame due to his PED scandal. The same scandal also led to the loss of respect and fame for the shortstop.

Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez and his post-retirement comeback

MLB suspended A-Rod for the 2014 season after the verdict on his scandal was out. While everyone started associating A-Rod with the PEDs and steroids, he had other plans for himself. After his retirement, he continued his work on A-Rod Corp.

Today, A-Rod Corp is a massive investment company that extends to real estate, sports, and other businesses. Apart from being the founder and CEO of A-Rod Corp, he also holds a managerial position with Presidente Beer and is a part owner of the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves.

Director of Screwball, Billy Corben, said, “We haven’t seen a resurrection like this since Jesus Christ.” Screwball was a movie that dug into A-Rod’s biogenesis scandal.

A-Rod and his star-studded past relationships

Back in February 2017, the Yankee shortstop and baseman started dating megastar Jennifer Lopez. Straightaway, the two became the power couple that bridged the entertainment and baseball world.

In 2019, the couple officially announced their engagement. While preparations for their marriage began, COVID-19 hit the world. This led to the postponement of their marriage. Eventually, in April 2021, the couple announced the end of their engagement.

After A-Rod and J.Lo separated, rumors of model Kathryne Padgett dating A-Rod hit the town. However, according to rumors from the recent past, even A-Rod and Kathryne have called it quits. Now, A-Rod is enjoying some alone time with family and friends.
