Per TMZ Sports, Carey and Jeter met first at a dinner party in 1997. And since then, their romance began for a year. She even divorced her then-husband, Tommy Mottola, for Jeter. However, Mariah confessed that she and Jeter were not on the same page after a while.
Because the two belonged to different industries and both were big stars. So they couldn’t live up to each other’s expectations. The American megastar also admitted that Jeter was a love in her life, not the love of her life.
“DJ was a love in my life, not of my life,” Mariah said.
After dating over a dozen of women, Jeter finally settled with Hannah Jeter (his wife) for good. After dating for a few years, Derek Jeter married Hannah in 2016. Hannah is a supermodel for Swimsuit Magazine.
