The Los Angeles Dodgers threw an epic victory parade! They had won the World Series 2024 title against their fiercest rival, New York Yankees, making the win ever so sweet. And this being their eighth time, the celebrations matched the moment – highlights of their big day included Enrique Hernandez going all ham on rap artist Fat Joe and claiming that his lackluster performance was the reason the Yankees fell through. Or the fact that Shohei Ohtani spoke English!

Watch What’s Trending Now!

The Japanese star spoke English fluently, and a clip featuring this is now going viral. Even his dog, Decoy, was present on the bus, as they did the tour. But the real showstopper was none other than Dodgers manager Dave Roberts. He really got the crowd going when he joined Ice Cube for some fun; Roberts became the showstopper of the day as he jumped alongside Ice Cube. Well, he didn’t sing though.

But in the process, Roberts busted out some moves and attempted what seemed like a try at twerking, syncing with the lyrics of Cube’s rap song. It seemed like even Ice Cube wanted to burst out laughing – this clip might turn out to be a hilarious memory for Dave Roberts down the line; nevertheless, it’s a reminder that they ended with a ball, and it started with a ball.

At first, the Dodgers faced plenty of ups and downs as they had players on downtime, injured. Some of their stars even had personal battles, for example – Freddie Freeman, who had a family emergency with his son, diagnosed with an autoimmune issue. And then, he hurt his ankle at a crucial time, yet, Freeman played and went on to be the MVP. This shows the team’s resilience, but those dance moves? That’s just Robert’s passion, even if they were a bit weird. And the internet is not keeping calm over the video.

Dodgers fans react to Dave Roberts’s moves

One user said,Doc drunker than hell.” Well, Dave Roberts has good reason to let loose. His club was challenged with huge expectations this year, mostly with Shohei Ohtani and his massive contract on board, prominent results were to be seen. And they delivered big time; surely a celebration was the first thing in order, right after the win and during the parade too. Moreover, after the 2020 win, they didn’t get to celebrate because of the pandemic, so, this time, it was a 2x celebration.

A very observant fan said, “Dave and Mookie have been around each other too much.” Well, Betts is the Dodger’s joker or the fun element of the team. We have seen him poke fun even at Yankees legends Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter. He was teasing them with the Yankees loss. Mookie Betts knows to have some fun, and who knows he must have rubbed it off on his manager.

In splits, another user wrote, “Best part of Ice Cube’s performance 😂.” Ice Cube gave a legendary performance every time he got on stage for the Dodgers. In fact, Hernandez said when Ice Cube came out in Game 2 with his performance, they didn’t need to play the game; they had already won it. But it seems this performance sure will take the cake when it comes to which is best!

One enthusiast gave a realistic, “Lmaoooooo Doc is LIIIIT” comment, and it wasn’t a surprise! Fans have seen many funny things from the Dodgers crew after drinks – just recently, Ohtani was caught on camera talking in English, and another clip of Jack Flaherty doing the rounds, where he was nearly falling off his chair. We bet the team is celebrating big time.

However, an angry blue crew fan said, “Absolute embarrassment to our Dodgers organization. He should be fired for that.” Well, Dave Roberts won’t be going anytime soon, given the team came so far ahead with his guidance. Still, the cringe factor was real, leaving many fans with a sense of second-hand embarrassment. Just one of the moments one wishes to unsee.

Big things are already going to happen next season. Ohtani might be pitching again, and Soto is someone the team seems to be interested in. Dave Roberts may celebrate today, but you bet his head will be on the game the next day!
