After spending four years together, the couple may have gone on their separate ways but continued to grow in their respective fields. While A-Rod expanded his business ventures, JLo spread her charm through her talents in the entertainment industry. 

Being the high-profile Hollywood fashion icon that Jennifer is, she usually gets an invite to one of the main events of the year, the Met Gala. And this year was no different. However, as the multimillionaire Jennifer Lopez donned at the event, she did not leave ex-fiance Alex Rodriguez behind. As JLo donned one of A-Rod’s favorite brands, she also spoke of how she remains fearless.

For those unversed, Jennifer made her debut in the entertainment industry in the late 1980s. Since then, she has worked as an actress and singer, achieving perfectionism in both of them. Hence, the pop icon has become accustomed to the glamor of the entertainment industry. Therefore, instead of being nervous, Lopez enjoys it.

As JLo stood for a brief interview before entering the Met, about her iconic black dress, she said, “It’s Ralph Lauren”, which is also one of the most liked brands by her ex-fiance, Alex Rodriguez. After this, when she got asked about getting even a tiny bit nervous while attending this event, she said, “No, not really. I was trying to remember what my first Met Ball was. I think it was like 1998 or ’99 or 2000 or something. Like it was a long time ago. It’s fun, if it’s not gonna be fun then why do it? I gotta be home with my husband and my kids. There has to be a little fun night out for Mommy.”

No matter what industry the Hustlers’ actress has dipped her hands into, she has taken the world by storm with it.

For any artist, to get the chance to perform on the biggest stage is a dream. And Lopez being exactly the same, had always dreamed of getting the chance to perform on one of the biggest events of the year, the Superbowl’s half-time show. And she got the chance in 2020 when she was still engaged to baseball legend Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez.
