Most recently, Los Angeles Dodgers’ Dustin May shocked baseball fans with his incredible sinker pitch. MLB Pitching analyst Rob Friedman shared a video of May throwing a 100mph sinker on Twitter. This has left fans bewildered and shocked as they watch the short clip on a loop. 

In the Tweet, Friedman said, “Dustin May, 100mph Sinker with 19″ of run.” This emphasized just how fast the pitch was actually going and how much it moved in the air. Most batters, even at the MLB level, would be left baffled by this pitch. Either they would watch it go past them or attempt a wild swing at it.
