Aaron Judge made his MLB debut with the New York Yankees, as an outfielder in 2016. Since then, he has provided numerous masterpieces of batting and fielding display. He won the American League Rookie of the Year Award, in his second season. Judge is a four-time All-Star player, with 200+ career total home runs.?

Judge has almost single-handedly carried the Yankees’ offense on multiple occasions this season. In fact, he has been instrumental in the Yankees holding the top position in their respective zonal division. On the other hand, the Houston Astros are going neck and neck against the Yankees. But the on-field rivalry didn’t stop the Astros’ manager, Dusty Baker, from praising Judge.?

Aaron Judge has continued to win games for his team and the hearts of critics this year. Most notably, he has been on a home run hitting spree. His colossal home runs are rewriting baseball history. Judge is now tied with Roger Maris, for the American League seasonal best home run record.?

But alongside a dominant batting streak, Judge has also been extraordinary as a fielder. His efforts haven’t gone unnoticed by Astros manager,?Dusty Baker. During his playing days, Baker became a two-time All-Star player, and a one-time World Series champion. With all the sporting experience in-store, Baker picked Judge, as his primary choice for the MVP award.?

Speaking about Judge in a podcast interview recently, Baker said, “Man, you know his opportunities aren’t there and everybody’s pitching around him. So he’s my unanimous, you know, MVP. He’s a bad boy. I mean, because I didn’t think that he was going to continue this pace, especially playing center field.”?

Baker continued saying, “That’s a lot of work. He’s not only continuing the pace, but you know something, he’s a hell of a center fielder. That surprised me in that he’s doing work on both sides of the field.”?

The Yankees have already clinched playoff berths and also won the zonal champion title. Therefore, Judge can mount up more home runs and also strengthen his case for the MVP award. But more likely he will focus on taking his team to a World Series victory. Interestingly, the Astros are in the playoffs too and will provide some stiff competition.?
