Boston Red Sox had one of their worst seasons in MLB during the 2022 season. This was an unprecedented collapse for the team as they had made the postseason in 2021. They dropped from 92 wins in 2021 to 78 wins in 2022. Furthermore, the Red Sox suffered a huge blow this off-season as they lost their franchise star, Xander Bogaerts, in free agency.

The Red Sox have made some interesting moves to retool the roster but fans are still unsure. One Boston Red Sox player recently shared his view on the team and was extremely optimistic about it.

Although many fans doubt that the Red Sox will be competitive in 2022, one of their players is optimistic. Enrique Hernandez recently opened up on the Red Sox’s roster on Twitter and seemed excited about the 2023 season. In the Tweet, he said he feels good about his team. But most Red Sox players would probably say the same thing.

In the Tweet, Hernandez said, “I feel good about my team! That’s the tweet”. Even though this is a nice Tweet, it comes at a time when fans aren’t optimistic about the 2023 season. The Red Sox have lost a lot of important players and have not done enough to replace them.

It will be interesting to see how the Red Sox team looks in the upcoming season. They have re-signed Rafael Devers to a long-term contract and brought in Japanese star Masataka Yoshida. But they have lost a lot of talent this year as well.

Has Boston improved their roster this off-season?

No, the Boston Red Sox have not improved their roster, in fact, the team may have become worse. They haven’t replaced key players that they lost. According to NBC Sports’ John Tomase, the Red Sox “ under-hauled it, subtracting All-Stars Xander Bogaerts and J.D. Martinez”.
