Rougned Odor was present when the benches cleared

Chirinos called a time-out in the eighth inning, and the umpire called it late. This caused the pitcher Fairbanks to strike out Chirinos on the next pitch. Apparently, Fairbanks thought it was Chirinos to call the late timeout.

The series going on between the two teams is pretty important as it might grant a wild card in the playoffs. Ultimately, the Orioles lost the match in the wild card race.?

Fairbanks was later interviewed about what happened between him and Chirinos, and he said,?“He said some things to me, I said some things to him. I thought it was fairly normal exchange… I didn’t think (the benches) were going to empty that fast.”

Whereas Chirinos considers him wild, and said in another interview,??He?s wild. Everybody know in the league. I called a timeout. Andy called it late. It was not my fault. I guess he thought it was my fault I called that timeout late. We lost the game.?
