Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees have their backs against the wall right now. They dropped from Game 1 and 2 poorly to the LA Dodgers, and now, Game 3 is a literal ‘must-win’ clash if they want to make a comeback. Only 11 teams in the past have made a comeback from 2 to 0, so, chances are no doubt slim. Alex Rodriguez suggested they change the lineup, or things might look difficult. But then, more damning news came in for the team.

A Twitter account posted that The New York World-Herald has reported that the Yankee captain is being investigated for using PEDs before Game 3 of the World Series showdown in New York. This news, if true, could be damaging to the team that is going to be playing on home grounds in a World Series after 15 long years. But is there any truth to this claim, or is it just another rumor?

The truth behind Aaron Judge’s wild PED rumor

The news came from a Twitter account named Rob Reinhart, who wrote,Aaron Judge is under investigation for using PEDs, per source.” And to back it up, he referenced an article from the Herald, which adds a touch of credibility. But before you fall for this, there is one detail that’s been missed. The New York Herald ceased all operations a century ago, so, it would be impossible for them to report anything. And there are more red flags too!

Rob Reinhard has an AI-generated profile picture. Also, the article in question, except the title, has the rest of the content blurred. Get the blur out, and it’s like one of those jokes where you expect juicy details but get hit with “lorem ipsum” instead! This isn’t the only wash this profile has reported; there was another news report suggesting that LeBron James criticized Team US head coach Steve Kerr, and apparently, this audio was leaked! Well, that was fake too.

Moreover, the suggestion that Aaron Judge is using PEDs almost seems funny. Judge is struggling this postseason – he hasn’t shown his usual regular-season self, let alone a groundbreaking performance that might raise suspicions. So, without a doubt, PEDs are not involved, and as for Judge, he probably doesn’t have time for such unnecessary controversies – he has a bigger job to shoulder!

Can Aaron Judge break the slump?

For all New York Yankee fans, it’s crunch time – the power-hitting captain is facing a challenge in his first stint in the World Series, and to say it’s difficult would be an understatement. After game 2 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, where Aaron Judge went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts, things do look dire for his team. Judge didn’t sugarcoat his sentiments after the game, saying, “I’m failing.” Right now, the Yankees are gearing up for Game 3, and the weight of the pinstripes is looming large on All Rise; he knows things need to change soon.

Aaron Judge chasing pitches outside the zone feels odd. After all, the man’s been known to ace in that during the regular season. But the postseason pressure can rock even the best, and Judge has a history of not performing during this half of the year. But despite the rough patch, Judge is not making excuses, determined to get back to his old self. He recently said,I definitely got to step up and do my job.”

Judge also added how the team needs to turn things around in Game 3, given they will be playing on their home ground. While fans were seen cheering him on to boost morale, like Mets fans did for Lindor, do you think things might change now as the team gears up for their next matchup? Let us know in the comments.
