He was so desperate to impress her date and look as good as her; the Yankees legend also used the same beauty product as J.Lo. A-Rod also revealed his excitement to sit next to Lady Gaga at the Oscars 2019.

In his own words, A-Rod said he followed his high school coach’s instinct to fake it till you make it.

“On an Oscar day, I am faking it like a son of a bi**h,” Alex Rodriguez said. “Because I am overwhelmed… I feel like, I am 18 years old again. When I debuted at Fenway Park, I was so nervous and I am getting those same butterflies now. Because I heard that we are sitting next to [Lady] Gaga.”
