Baseball is the favorite pastime of America. Fans pay a lot to have a good day with their families. A single American family of four members spends over $204 to watch an MLB game. Baseball fans expect better facilities at the stadiums for this much price. But with recent development, while some turned the situation into fun, others came home disappointed.
Fenway Park in Boston is another stadium fans often complain about for its poor amenities and mismanagement. Although the approval of the $1.6 billion Fenway Corners development project could improve the condition. But currently, the conditions at the stadium worsened at the recent match after the stadium was filled up with rainwater, leaving the spectators stranded.

Fenway Park hosted the game between the New York Mets and Boston Red Sox on Friday night. However, the match was delayed for hours due to rain and later suspended in the fourth innings. The heavy rain filled the Park with water, but it did not stop the fans from having fun.
The fans turned the water-filled Fenway Park into a swimming park and took a few dives. GENY Mets Report shared a video on Twitter that shows fans enjoying the moment. In the video, people cheer for the shirtless fan doing a body slide in the water.

Mets-Red Sox Fans’ Take on Yankees in Unison

The fans started chanting in the middle of the game before its suspension. Despite being on the opposite side, the Mets and Red Sox fans by their common dislike for the Yankees.

The renovation of Fenway Park is going to take a long time, making the conditions at Parks worrisome. The water logging at the Park is just one of the issues that the spectators face. However, fans are keeping a positive attitude towards the problems and await renovation.
