Being a Major League Baseball player comes with many perks. The better the performance is on the field, the more are the number of opportunities from it. MLB franchise LA Angels’ two-way phenom Shohei Ohtani is the perfect example of fame from talent. Out of the many opportunities that Shotime has got till now, one is of him being the face of one of the biggest sports footwear companies, New Balance.

After being with a Japanese footwear company called Asics for over eight years, Shotime decided it was time to make a change. The deal was announced weeks before Shohei represented Team Japan at World Baseball Classic. However, it is only now that he has started to make waves about the same.

Shohei Ohtani has new kicks!

Most recently, the Angels landed in Texas to play a four-game series against the Texas Rangers. Before game one, Ohtani got clicked, arriving in the Lone Star State. However, as he arrived, he started to make waves with his appearance.

While coming into Texas, Ohtani was seen wearing unreleased shoes by New Balance. Seems like Shotime is breaking into the shoes himself before he promotes and opens up for the fans to buy.

According to the reports surfaced earlier this year, Ohtani’s deal with New Balance is a long-term one, somewhat around $5 million. With his iconic kicks in violet, cream, and pink color, Ohtani has left his fans in awe of him.

Fans are pro-Ohtani!

With 20 home runs and posting an ERA of 3.32, once again, Shohei Ohtani is doing a commendable job as a hitter and a pitcher. From the looks of it, he will once again be in the running for AL MVP. However, it might be too soon to tell. Although, for now, fans are now happy to see Ohtani teaming up with New Balance and is enjoying his look wearing the unreleased kicks.
