Out of the many roles he plays, baseball legend Alex Rodriguez is proudest of being a father to his two girls. Alex has been a single parent ever since he got divorced from his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis, in 2008. No matter the hardships or wins that came his way, he has always been there for his girls. Now, when his elder daughter Natasha is about to begin a new chapter in her life, the father in A-Rod is could not hold himself from expressing his love for his daughter.

Most recently, Natasha got graduated from high school. Needless to say, watching his little girl grow up made the former athlete emotional. Therefore, Alex poured his heart out for his daughter, as his eldest is about to begin a new journey toward the University of Michigan.

Alex has always remained a doting father to both of his girls, supporting them in everything they’ve ever wanted to do. Now, when it’s time for him to let go and watch his daughter become the person that she’s always dreamed of, although he’s proud and happy for her, it’s a bit tough for him.

Hence, taking to his Instagram handle, Rodriguez posted a bunch of pictures from the after-party of her graduation with all the family members. Besides the all-smiles pictures, A-Rod wrote, “Yesterday was bittersweet. Tashi, I can’t make time stand still, so my wish for you is to go out in the world with confidence, knowing your worth and believing in yourself. As you move on from one chapter to the next, I’m most proud of who you are as a person. Honest, kind, compassionate, intuitive and wise beyond your years. As your father, I’m supposed to be your role model. But for the last 18 years, you’ve been mine. Proud of you always! Love, Daddy 💙.”

On multiple occasions, Alex has spoken about how his girls are the best things that ever happened to him. Hence, the cheerleader in him had to rise after watching Natasha become her own person.
