Surprises are always special, but sometimes they can be shocking as well. After most other renowned franchises, the Miami Marlins bid goodbye to their GM, Kim Ng. This matter has not yet been normalized. Amidst, another former Marlins member came up with his shocking theories that once again shook fans off. Following the GM’s leaving, the former president told a different story of the ex-CEOs stepping down.
Derek Jeter joined the Miami Marlins in 2017 as a minority investor and team CEO. Initially, things were going on the right track. But within 3 years, things ended with Jeter stepping down from his post. Over the years, fans knew it was Captain Clutch’s decision to leave the team, but recently, David Samson challenged this thought with his ‘firing’ information.

The Yankees’ former captain stepping down from his position came as an enormous shock. However, he blamed the team’s direction for his resignation. Per him, the direction of the organization was changed, which made it difficult for him to survive there. He clearly stated, “I just couldn’t move on if I didn’t agree with the direction that the organization was going.” But things took a different turn when the former president opened his mouth.
Samson recently appeared in an exclusive interview session with Front Office Sports. This session unfolded a new story. The former president clearly stated, “He was fired, period, because he said he would deliver certain revenue goals and certain things from a financial standpoint that he never delivered.”

The former team president later focused on a part where the Yankees legend was even trying to cut the team owner off the baseball operation discussion. He used to make high-level discussions without informing Sherman. The former Marlins’ president even claimed that the team owner had no news that Mike Hall was not going to return by Jeter. Later Samson added, “But he’d really have to be under the truth serum because it’s hard to admit that you had given the reins over to someone who wouldn’t even communicate with you.”
Though he is talking about Jeter firing others, Jeter even fired Samson after joining the Marlins.
