Per USA Today, Alex Rodriguez had a unique habit of collecting helmets of those teammates who would hit a walk-off home run to help the team win. Whenever A-Rod’s teammate would hit a walk-off home run; instead of celebrating with teammates, his priority was to collect the helmet.

And he did it all the time while playing for the Pinstripes.

“Rodriguez seems to really, really love collecting guys’ helmets after they hit walk-off homers. He will stop at nothing to get the helmet. He does it nearly every time. It’s incredible. It’s extremely weird and surprisingly endearing,” the USA Today report said.

The media have always projected Alex Rodriguez as the bad guy in Major League Baseball. However, he was just a passionate baseball player who would do anything to win the game for his team.
