During the 2009 postseason, Rodriguez played a crucial role, hitting some clutch shots. This, along with the efforts of his teammates, allowed the Bronx Bombers to take home the title. Furthermore, it helped A-Rod establish himself as a top playoff performer, something that fans had questioned.
