After retiring from the Pinstripes, A-Rod returned his focus to his dream in the world of real estate. Today, through the holding company A-Rod Corp, which he founded in 1996, the 2009 World Champion has become a shark in the realm of real estate. However, his only connection with the baseball world remains through the broadcasting wing, after billionaire Steve Cohen outbid him in 2020 for the ownership of the New York Mets.

The two biggest investments of A-Rod Corp today are the Waldorf Hotel in Washington, DC and the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves.
