Things have yet to start to look better for the New York Yankees. From being one of the best franchises in the entire league to being one of the most criticized ones, the Yanks have come a long way in the wrong direction. One of the most significant blows that the Yankees took this season was to have their captain Aaron Judge get on the injured list for the second time. Recently, the fanbase got yet another update on their captain’s injury. 

Initially, Judge was supposed to be on the injured list for ten days. But now it’s been over three weeks, and so far, no date got set for his return to the plate. And once again, the recent update was useless, leaving the fans to unleash their wrath on the management. 

When will Aaron Judge return?

NYY manager Aaron Boone gave a positive update on Judge not long ago. He said that the outfielder feels quite good about his toe after getting the latest injection. However, the update did not sit well with the fanbase, as they did not see his return date. Last night, once again, the Yankees’ manager got asked about the Yankees captain’s return to the diamond.

And once again, intentionally or not, he dampened the expectations of the fanbase. When he got asked about the return of AL home run king, Boone said, “As far as Judge, not sure yet.”  

With many of their iconic talents on the injured list, the Bronx Bombers are having one of their worst seasons. And Judge’s absence has made things even worse. Notably, fans are not happy and also aren’t holding back their emotions about the same.

The biggest franchise in MLB, New York Yankees, has 27 World Series rings in their corner. But the last decade has entirely changed the team’s reputation. Things looked promising when the team spent over half a billion dollars to acquire some of the best players. But even that went downhill as the season started. So far, according to the fanbase, the team has done nothing but talk.
