LA Dodgers’ Star Exits Game with Injury

The LA Dodgers’ star first baseman, Freddie Freeman, had to exit the game when a wayward pitch caught the batter on the knee. Freddie Freeman took the walk and occupied first base, before sitting out the final two innings of the game. Hitter Miguel Rojas replaced the star hitter for the rest of the game.

Reportedly, the injury is not a serious one, and the exit was merely precautionary. However, more news is awaited regarding the star’s playing status. The star has been an integral part of a superb offense for the Dodgers recording a 0.344 average so far this season.

Meanwhile, Dodgers fans came to the defense of their star hitter and made sure that they had his back.

With the 2023 season truly now shaping up and taking form, fans now will start seeing the rosters form up. And if Freeman is to drop from the Dodgers’ starting lineup, it may shake up the franchise’s chances. The Dodgers will hope that it truly isn’t so.
