MLB’s 2023 season is almost upon us, with Spring Training currently taking place. All 30 teams are getting ready for the upcoming season with their star players working out and getting in shape. During Spring Training, teams are playing practice games in the Cactus League and the Grapefruit League. The Los Angeles Dodgers are no different, as they have been playing in the Cactus League as well.
But during one of their recent games, they experienced a massive setback as one of their stars suffered an injury. Shortstop Gavin Lux injured his right knee while running between the bases. The diagnosis of the injury has been revealed, and it’s not good news. Notably, lux was supposed to be the ideal shortstop for the Dodgers after Trea Turner ended up in Philadelphia.

During a recent Cactus League game, the Dodgers star Gavin Lux suffered an injury. The star shortstop was running between the bases when he fell down in pain while grabbing his right knee. It has since been confirmed that Lux has torn his ACL and will probably miss the entire 2023 season. This is a huge loss for the Dodgers as he was going to be a part of their starting lineup. With Gavin Lux missing the season, the Los Angeles Dodgers have to look at other options at shortstop. According to sources, the team plans to use veteran infielder Miguel Rojas as their starting shortstop for the season.
